Calling all young nature explorers of all abilities and needs aged 5-11 :-)

Join us for our summer holiday forest camp during the first two weeks of August. Explore the wonders of the Scout Park together, a sanctuary for youthful explorers featuring engaging activities that naturally blend fun and learning in the great outdoors.

Time: 9.30 am - 3 pm

Possible activities include imaginative den building, fostering friendships and allowing creativity to flourish, seasonal woodland crafts that ignite artistic expression, the art of whittling to craft creations from simple pieces of wood, a nature hunt to discover local wildlife habitats, and a campfire where stories are shared and delicious snacks are enjoyed.

Please be aware that we require a filled and submitted consent form prior to your child's initial session with us.

What your child/ren will need to wear and bring:
Children should come suitably dressed for the season and weather, old clothes are preferred as it's likely they will get muddy.
Please provide covered footwear such as walking boots or wellington boots. No open-toe shoes.
Long sleeve tops and trousers are preferred to help reduce the risk of scratches or stings all year round.
In sunny weather, please provide your child/ren with a hat and sun cream.
In the colder months a coat, hat, scarf, gloves and thermals will be needed.
If it’s wet, we ask that children come in with waterproof trousers and a jacket.

Toilets and handwashing:
Children will have access to the onsite toilet. We ask children to wash their hands after using the toilet and before eating food. Please provide your child/ren with a spare change of clothes as it is very likely they will get muddy.

Food and Drink:
Please provide your child/ren with a healthy packed lunch and snacks and a clearly marked water bottle. NO NUTS. We will provide a piece of fruit each day. We ask children to wash their hands after using the toilet and before eating food.

Weather: Urban Forest Tribe operates in most weather, we will only cancel a session due to extreme weather conditions. This is to ensure the children and members of staff are kept safe at all times. We will aim to give families as much notice as possible if a session is cancelled.
