Calling all young nature explorers of all abilities and needs aged 5-11 :-)

Join us for a nature adventure on Mondays as we explore the wonders of the Scout Park together. Our After School Forest Club is a haven for young explorers, filled with exciting activities that blend fun and learning in the great outdoors.

Time: 3.30 pm - 5.30 pm

Activities might include mini den building, where imaginations run wild and friendships grow, woodland crafts that spark creativity, art of whittling where creations are made from simple pieces of wood, nature hunt discovering the local wildlife habitats and a cosy campfire where stories are shared and yummy snacks are enjoyed.

Our Monday After School Forest Club is not just an activity, it's a vibrant community where the wonders of the natural world come alive. Join us, and let the forest be their playground.

Please be aware that we require a filled and submitted consent form prior to your child's initial session with us.

To guarantee your child/ren has the best experience and most fun, please ensure they come prepared with the following for an exciting outdoor adventure with us: 

Children should come suitably dressed for the season and weather, old clothes are preferred as it's likely they will get muddy.
Please provide covered footwear such as walking boots or wellington boots. No open-toe shoes.
Long sleeve tops and trousers are preferred to help reduce the risk of scratches or stings all year round.
In sunny weather, please provide your child/ren with a hat and sun cream.
In the colder months a coat, hat, scarf, gloves and thermals will be needed.
If it’s wet, we ask that children come in with waterproof trousers and a jacket.

Toilets and handwashing:
Children will have access to our onsite camping toilet. We ask children to wash their hands after using the toilet and before eating food. Please provide your child/ren with a spare change of clothes.

Food and Drink:
Please prepare your child/ren with healthy snacks and a clearly marked filled water bottle. NO NUTS.

Weather:
Urban Forest Tribe operates in most weather, we will only cancel a session due to extreme weather conditions. This is to ensure the children and members of staff are kept safe at all times. We will aim to give families as much notice as possible if a session is cancelled.
