Calling all young nature explorers of all abilities and needs aged 5–11 🍂

This summer, join us for a After School Forest Club adventure at the beautiful Holly Lodge Gardens, a place where children can explore, play, and connect with nature through fun, hands on activities that blend learning with the wonders of the outdoors.

We strive for every child to feel safe, supported, and included. If your child would benefit from 1:1 care, please get in touch with us before booking. That way, we can plan together and make sure your child(ren) has the support they need to enjoy their time with us.

Time: 3.45 am – 5.45 pm

Our Forest Club will be filled with adventures such as:
🌲 Imaginative den building that sparks teamwork and creativity
🎨 Seasonal woodland crafts to ignite artistic expression
🔍 Nature hunts to discover local wildlife and habitats

Come join the tribe this late summer, autumn, let’s make memories, new friendships, and lots of muddy smiles together.

To help your child(ren) have the best experience and the most fun, please make sure they come prepared for an exciting outdoor adventure with us:

👕 Clothing: Children should come suitably dressed for the season and weather. Old clothes are best, we’ll be exploring, playing, and likely getting muddy.
👢 Footwear: Please provide covered shoes such as walking boots or wellingtons (no open-toe shoes).
🌿 Protection: Long sleeve tops and trousers are recommended all year round to help reduce the risk of scratches and stings.
☀️ Sunny days: A hat and sunscreen will help keep your child comfortable on sunny days.
❄️ Colder months: A warm coat, hat, scarf, gloves, and thermals will help keep children cosy.
🌧️ Wet weather: Waterproof trousers and a jacket are needed so children can enjoy the day whatever the weather.

Toilets and Handwashing:
Children will have access to our camping pop up toilet. We encourage handwashing after using the toilet and before eating snacks. Please also pack a spare change of clothes just in case.

Food and Drink:
Please provide your child(ren) with healthy snacks , and a clearly labelled water bottle. We are a nut free camp.

Weather:
Urban Forest Tribe CIC runs in almost all weather. We’ll only cancel if conditions are extreme, to ensure everyone’s safety. If we do need to cancel, we’ll aim to give families as much notice as possible if a session is cancelled.
