About the sessions

Join us for our 5th year of Inclusive SENDay Family Sessions, where children of all abilities and their families can enjoy a morning outdoors together. These sessions are designed to be relaxed, inclusive, and gentle-paced, so children can engage in ways that feel right for them, whether that’s joining in fully, dipping in and out, or simply being present in the space.

Expect nature-inspired seasonal activities, laughter, and a sense of community, guided by our friendly Urban Forest Tribe team.

Who is this for?

• Families of children with additional or special educational needs

• Parents and carers who will be attending and supporting their child(ren) throughout

• These sessions are family-attended, parents/carers stay with their child(ren) at all times.

What to bring

• Clothing and footwear suitable for the weather

• Any comfort items or support tools your child finds helpful

• Snacks, drinks, and any medication your child may need

• A welcoming space for families to connect

• There’s no pressure to join in with everything, children and families can participate in whatever feels right for them.

• As part of booking, there’s a short consent and information form to let us know about your child’s needs and how we can best support them.
