We strive for every child to feel safe, supported, and included. If your child would benefit from 1:1 care, please get in touch with us before booking, this will help us plan together and make sure your child(ren) has the support they need to enjoy their time with us.
Time: 9.30 am – 3 pm
Possible activities include:
🌲 Den building to spark teamwork and creativity in the crisp woodland air
🍃 Seasonal woodland crafts inspired by nature’s spring palette
🪵 Whittling simple pieces of wood into charming seasonal treasures
🔍 Spring nature hunts to discover signs of wildlife and the magic of the changing season
🔥 Campfire gatherings (weather permitting) to share stories and enjoy tasty treats
Come join the tribe this Summer, let’s make memories, new friendships, and lots of muddy smiles together.
To help your child(ren) have the best experience and the most fun, please make sure they come prepared for an exciting outdoor adventure with us:
👕 Clothing: Children should come suitably dressed for the season and weather. Old clothes are best, we’ll be exploring, playing, and likely getting muddy.
👢 Footwear: Please provide covered shoes such as walking boots or wellingtons (no open-toe shoes).
🌿 Protection: Long sleeve tops and trousers are recommended all year round to help reduce the risk of scratches and stings.
☀️ Sunny days: A hat and sunscreen will help keep your child comfortable on sunny days.
❄️ Colder months: A warm coat, hat, scarf, gloves, and thermals will help keep children cosy.
🌧️ Wet weather: Waterproof trousers and a jacket are needed so children can enjoy the day whatever the weather.
Toilets and handwashing:
Children will have access to onsite toilets. We encourage handwashing after using the toilet and before eating. Please provide your child/ren with a spare change of clothes.
Food and Drink:
Please provide your child(ren) with a healthy packed lunch, snacks, and a clearly labelled water bottle. We are a nut free camp.
Weather:
Urban Forest Tribe CIC runs in almost all weather. We’ll only cancel if weather conditions are extreme, this is to ensure the children and members of staff are kept safe at all times. We will aim to give families as much notice as possible if a session is cancelled.
