Join artist Becky Lyon and Stanmore Country Park Warden David Rice for a walk with the woodlands illuminating its lively network of relations. As we walk we will take part in short practices to inspire us to pay close attention to the connections we can see (like symbiosis between plants and pollinators, the hybridity of lichen) and those we can’t see (like mycelial networks and inter-tree communication)! We’ll contemplate the ways humans and our ecology are interwoven and interdependent.
Stanmore Country Park is a hidden gem, a stone’s throw from the Jubilee line boasting verdant secondary woodland, open grassland and wildflower meadows tended to by local volunteers.
