Urban Van Festival, 19th-21 July 2024, Plumpton Racecourse, East Sussex, BN7 3AL

Join us for a  friendly Van-life community festival, set in the idyllic countryside of the South Downs, located, only 12 miles north of Brighton and within easy reach of the A23 and A27.

The Urban Van Festival is a weekend of camping with like-minded people from beginners and intrigued through to the expert van converters  

All are welcome to this fun weekend
The weekend will comprise of live music and entertainment, a social hub area with a bar and food stalls, an artisan and craft market. Trade stands, display vehicles, children’s and adult activities , and a wellness area. The Urban Van Festival is proud to be supporting the Samaritans mental health charity who will be present at our event with their festival team.

Solo campers, couples,  families,  groups of all ages and furry dog friends welcome , disabled spaces available Join us for an exciting weekend of fun, friendship and entertainment.

Early Thursday 18th July  tickets available  this is per Van or Tent not per person please arrive between 2pm-8pm, this is set up day £20 extra for vans £10 for tents

Arrive Friday 0630am-18:00

Event starts at 10am Friday 

Tent campers can arrive anytime Friday as parking in car park outside 

There is an option for quiet camping subject to availability

The quiet camping area is now sold out 

We have a calm area which is not as quiet but not loud 

family campers please choose family camp area (vans) add children even if they are free, If you do not add children we will not place you in family camping   Family Campers  ONLY can leave from 2pm Sunday but will need a marshal to escort them out via bottom Exit

Motorhomes and XL campervans are in one area 

Disabled campervans are in loud area this is as it is located near all amenities, if you do not want this then please do not put disabled option 

Tent camping is in a separate field , area options do not apply  Tent Campers will need to park car in free car park / no cars on tent field

Car campers please choose a van pitch

You may have a tent and van in van pitch but you must not go over the marked space so please take into consideration guide ropes of tent

Event tickets and wristbands will be sent out to you a few weeks prior to Event date this will include wristbands 

There will be no scanning on the gate please do not forget actual tickets and wristbands

Departure of Vans From 6pm Sunday 21st July until 9pm

Family Vans only can leave from 1600hrs Sunday

Monday 22nd July 0600-12noon 

Toilets / water/ waste water on site and a small amount of showers near tent field 

No glass bottles allowed in main arena

No E scooters or E bikes

Sorry no caravans

pitch size for vans are 6m x4m   6m x6m  9m x 6m please choose correct size for your van 

Group Bookings

There is a discount for 5 and 10 van group bookings  it is applied already, the tickets will be sent out to one address

Refund policy 

No refunds given after 5 days from date of purchase 

Day Tickets

Tickets need to purchased for the specific day 

You are welcome to bring picnics but no glass

Friday Saturday and Sunday 

Entry opens 10am each day 

Friday and Saturday day ticket holders must depart by 23.30hrs the gates will close 

Sunday day ticket holders must depart at 18:30

Children under 16 are free on day tickets but you will need to still select child ticket on booking 

No under 16s without an adult 

Actual tickets will be sent out in the post closer to event date so please input address

There is no overnight stays on day tickets
