THEATRE THAT RECONNECTS - Online Introduction course July

Thu 2 Jul 2026 16:15 - Thu 30 Jul 2026 17:30 CEST Online, Zoom

How can theatre help us navigate in times of uncertainty?

How can we create and become spaces that transform?

How do we weave reflection and action for all of life?

Theatre the Reconnects invites facilitators, artists, activists, educators, and change-makers to explore and receive tools for embodied storytelling and social transformation. Theatre That Reconnects integrates Theatre of the Oppressed, Social Presencing Theatre, and Joanna Macy’s Work That Reconnects.  Joining the online Theatre That Reconnects lab offers a unique opportunity to explore and deepen your connection with others, nature, and the community.

Together, we move through The Gift, The Wound, The Medicine, The Dream—a process map explored as a playful, reflective, and collective learning journey.

🌀 Rhythm of the Journey

We meet weekly on Thursdays (July 2 – July 30) for live online sessions.

16:15 – 17:30 CET, which corresponds to:

    • US Eastern: 10:15 – 11:30
    • UK: 15:15 – 16:30
    • India: 19:45 – 21:00
    • Western Australia: 22:15 – 23:30
    • (Please check your local time.)

Sessions are recorded for internal use, so you can stay connected if you miss a gathering. A shared online space will accompany us throughout, offering a place to exchange reflections, insights, and let the work continue to unfold between sessions.

What will we do?

Making sense of the world through mindful movement practices.
Practice Listening and presence—both within ourselves and in the group.
Create and witness together shifting old narratives and inspire seeds of action.
Cultivate our capacity to facilitate group work, community engagement, and social change.
Experience co-creation in a supportive, small-group setting to support us on the road as it unfolds.
