Class Offerings

A total of 8 lessons (45 minutes) will run from Mon-Thur for each 2 week class:  $185 per child/per session.

June 17th - 27th:  10am & 11am

July 1st - 11th:  10am & 11am (Yes we have lessons on Thursday July 4th)

July 15th - 25th: 10am & 11 am

Levels:

1. Beginner (5 years and under, unless they can already self-rescue)
2. Advanced Beginner (6 years and up, or can self-rescue)
3. Swim Team Skills (Technique work for all four competitive strokes)

All Skill levels are offered during each session and children will be divided by ability on the first day of class.  All instructors are Uswim1 certified in a technique that differentiates instruction for each child within the group.

Philosophy

The philosophy of the USwim1 lessons program is to provide quality instruction for a necessary life skill. We attempt to nurture confidence and dissipate fear for the non-swimmer in an aquatic setting. Our main focus is to make the non-swimmer safe while eliciting positive emotions surrounding the water. Results will be our first priority. Instructors will consist of professional, graduate, undergraduate, and high school personnel with swimming experience. Our swimmer to instructor ratio is an ideal 5/1 with the Swim Team Skills ratio of 8/1. Classes will run 45 minutes, depending on how much progress is made each day. Parents are not involved in the lesson (you get to watch from the sidelines) and no water wings will be used.

Refund Policy - Registration Changes

Refunds: May be requested until 12pm two weeks before the beginning of the session and will be subject to a $75 fee.  After 12pm two weeks prior and once the session has begun, NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON.

Changes in Registration: Registration corrections and/or cancellations will be an additional fee. In the event that you make a mistake (i.e the session date/time) during the registration process and request a change, we will charge you. Beware that some registration errors CANNOT be corrected. Any registration correction/cancellation requested within the first 24 hours of registration opening costs $25 per ticket.  Any registration corrections/cancellations requested after 24 hours of registration opening costs $75 per ticket. ALL registration corrections/cancellations MUST be requested via email, Uswim1@gmail.com, as phone calls will not be accepted.
