THE GODS ARE NOT TO BLAME

An Exclusive Theatrical Presentation
Written by Ola Rotimi | Directed by Dr Mojisola Kareem

Join Utopia Theatre for an afternoon of African theatre, music, culture and community, culminating in an exclusive Theatrical Presentation of Ola Rotimi's celebrated play, The Gods Are Not to Blame.

Rooted in Yoruba culture and storytelling traditions, this powerful African tragedy explores fate, power, family and the devastating consequences of a prophecy that cannot be escaped.

As Utopia Theatre develops its artistic vision for a future full production, audiences are invited to experience selected scenes from the play, brought to life by professional actors alongside community and young performers, through live music, movement and dance.

This is a rare opportunity to experience the work as it takes shape, discover the creative vision behind the production, and for you to join us on this exciting journey.
