Are you passionate about conservation? Do you want to build your professional network, gain educational and communication skills, and have winter fun in Wisconsin’s Northwoods?
This retreat is for you! For our 5th annual event Jan. 5-8, 2027, we’ve expanded to 3 nights, 4 days of activities. College students (undergrad and graduate) of all majors and backgrounds are welcome. We welcome professionals from diverse career paths in conservation to attend, too!
What to Expect:
- Attendees can choose to participate in environmental activities, winter ecology, conservation games, conservation policy discussions, interpretive trail adventures and more!
- Don’t miss the dedicated networking session with conservation professionals from around Wisconsin.
- Enjoy outdoor fun such as hiking, campfires, stargazing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice-skating (bring your own gear)!

Bring your own sleeping bag, pillow and towel, soap, and toiletries
Professional Rate: $185 for 2 nights, get the 3rd night free!
Student Rate: $150 for 2 nights, get the 3rd night free!
Fees include all lodging and meals, snappy wifi and hot showers.
