Iconic You: Portrait Workshop

This summer, we’re celebrating important people — and that includes you. As a local history museum, your story is part of our story, and your self‑portrait deserves a place in our collection.

Explore the Fanshawe portraits and discover how artists capture identity, expression, and character. Then create your own self‑portrait using expressive materials and guided techniques. A fun, confidence‑building workshop that celebrates every child as an icon in their own right.

Suitable for 5+ | Children must be accompanied by an adult

Our spaces are wheelchair accessible.
