The legendary Murder Mystery nights are back — and this autumn, the wait is finally over. To mark the anniversary of the murder of PC George Clark, we are reopening the case, and this time the public is invited to help solve it.
Participants will step into an imaginary historic courtroom setting, where the final papers of the case are ready to be signed. Dr Thorne — the enigmatic investigator who debuted during our May Mystery Month — has been summoned to formally conclude the investigation. As the ink is about to meet the page, everything shifts. What should have been the end becomes the beginning.
Expect an immersive, fast‑paced investigation through evidence, testimony, and long‑buried secrets. Audiences will work alongside Dr Thorne to re‑examine the events surrounding PC George Clark’s death, uncover hidden motives, and challenge assumptions that have stood for decades. The truth has waited long enough — and this time, you’re part of the team.
The murder of PC George Clark has echoed through local history for generations. Revisiting the case allows us to explore real historical context while giving audiences a gripping, theatrical experience rooted in Valence House’s storytelling tradition.
This Murder Mystery marks the beginning of a refreshed, expanded mystery offer at Valence House, where Dr Thorne steps forward as the mastermind behind our investigative adventures. Expect atmosphere, twists, and a finale that will leave audiences talking long after the night ends.
