About Matt Papa

Matt Papa is the modern hymn writer and musician behind beloved songs like “His Mercy Is More,” “I Set My Hope on Jesus,” “Christ Our Hope in Life and Death,” and “Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery.”

A Dove Award–nominated artist and songwriter with Getty Music, Matt writes songs that are singable, beautiful, and anchored in Scripture. He serves as an artist-in-residence at Marco Presbyterian Church in Marco Island, Florida, and is a husband and father of five.
