Valtos Presents: High Water Mark is our DJ/Live hybrid project - Isle of Skye natives Daniel Docherty and Martyn MacDonald, joined by fiddle player Euan McLaughlin, expanding on the unique sound of our main project, Valtos. Known for blending traditional Gaelic folk with electronic music, we've been making waves in both the folk and electronic scenes since our debut in 2021. With High Water Mark, we bring our distinctive sound, sampling influences from artists like Bicep, Mylo, and Peatbog Faeries, while still incorporating Euan's masterful fiddle playing.

In this new project, Dan and Martyn focus on the DJ side, delivering driving electronic beats, while Euan adds traditional melodies through his fiddle, creating something completely fresh. High Water Mark is our dancefloor-ready take on our already unique sound, offering our audiences a chance to experience our music in a club setting while still capturing the essence of our folk roots.
