Urban Sketching Workshop

Learn how to sketch with confidence with Emma FitzGerald, author and illustrator of Hand Drawn Vancouver. Explore how drawings can be a prompt for storytelling and get inspired to go outside to sketch your favourite neighbourhood spots or local heritage buildings and places! Emma will also share tips for drawing on location, including intimidating architecture.

This workshop will be presented via Zoom. Please have on hand the following:  

• a black uniball fine tip pen (available at Staples/most stationary supply stores). 
• 3-5 pieces of white 8.5x11 paper
• a hard surface to sketch on
• a favourite/intriguing object you are interested in sketching

Please note that event cancellations require 4 weeks notice as most event and course expenses are incurred in the weeks immediately prior.
