This summer, join Vancouver Heritage Foundation for our first Heritage Hunt! This family-friendly scavenger hunt explores the historic area of Mt. Pleasant. Follow a suggested walking route with our illustrated guidebook or tour the neighbourhood at your leisure. You will learn about the neighbourhood’s incredible heritage places and answer questions at points of interest along the way. Submit your answers online for a chance to win fantastic prizes from local businesses. 

This fun, laid-back, outdoor event is suitable for all ages. 

Proceeds from the Mt. Pleasant Heritage Hunt will support VHF's educational programming, special projects, and schools grants. To learn more about the important work that VHF does please visit our website.

Details:

• Heritage Hunt Guidebooks can be picked up at the Vancouver Heritage Foundation office (303 – 3102 Main Street - Buzzer #1) during business hours between 9am and 4pm.

• You may also select the shipping option to have the guidebook(s) mailed to you.
  

• Participants are welcome to walk the route at their leisure.

• Participants must submit the online answer form by July 31 to be entered into the prize draw.

• Important note: Many of the sites noted on the Heritage Hunt are private homes and property. Please enjoy viewing the stops on the hunt from the sidewalk and do not enter private property for any reason. Please be mindful of your surroundings and uneven paved surfaces and ensure you are crossing roads safely at designated crosswalks or traffic lights.
