Description
The clean lines and innovative materials of Mid-Century Modern architecture can be found all over the UBC campus. In this unique tour, develop your photography skills with architectural photographer, Martin Knowles, and learn about this innovative and fascinating architectural movement with UBC SALA Professor Emeritus Sherry McKay.
Open to all skill levels. Please bring your own photographic equipment – tripods are recommended.
Martin Knowles is an architectural photographer and Phase One Certified Professional based in downtown Vancouver, BC.
Sherry McKay is Professor Emerita (2019), of the UBC School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. She is an architectural historian with publications on international and west coast modern architecture.
This workshop earns 2 credits towards VHF’s Heritage Conservation Certificate.
