How can we make a shift...
…from individual self expression, to collective creativity?
…from perpetuating stale relationship patterns, to creative entities?
…from stuck and uncomfortable places, to the greatest possibility as a group, in each moment?
About Social Presencing Theater
Social Presencing Theater, a new synthesis between movement, embodied presence, dialogue, and stillness. It is not "theater" in the conventional sense, but it uses simple body postures and movements to dissolve limiting concepts, to communicate directly, to access intuition, and to make visible both current reality, and the deeper – often invisible – leverage points for creating profound change.
About this series
Over the course of the three sessions we’ll dive into the central exercises of Social Presencing Theater. Each exercises will be introduced by its basic principles, physically experienced and reflected in the group.
Each practice session will start with the solo-practice „20 minute dance“ and then lead into the more complex group practices:
Session 1: „Stuck Dance“
Session 2: „Field Dance“
Session 3: „The Village“
The sessions build upon each other, yet can be visited separately as well. Digital handouts will be provided.
The dates:
Tuesdays, 7:00-9:00pm CET / 01:00-03:00pm EST / 10:00-12:00 PST (Room opens 5 min prior to the start.)

All three sessions:
Incl. taxes, excl. fees. Reach out in case you need support around costs or payment to info@vanillaway.net.
Technical requirements:
You need to install zoom on a computer (not iPad, because you need to see all participants on one screen) with (build in) speakers and a microphone or wireless earphones (to be able to hear you also when you are 2-3 meters away from your computer).
You need also a room with some space to move and lie down on the floor and where you feel widely not disturbed. 4 sqm is already enough, more also great.
If you practice with someone in the same room, each one of you needs your own computer. Being in same room is possible, but easier you are in separate rooms. Let us know in case to give you need advice how to handle that.

For whom is this?
For people with a systemic view on social change, who are open to experiments and self-exploration and for whom embodiment is not a new concept. You do not need to have any previous experience in SPT.
We aim to create an inclusive space. We are welcoming people of different appearance and worldviews, and expect from everyone to support this through mutual care and respect.
The venue is in the top floor and unfortunately not wheel chair accessible. If you need assistance, let us know, we are able to provide a free ticket.
Language will be English.
Feedback from past SPT online-session participants:
Brings me into deep feelings; links me together with nature and awareness of what is around me; connects me with people, I did not even know before (Rita, Berlin)
Good practice, slow down and exploration, embodiment, self and in company. Nice to be with a small group, nice that it was lively and prototype character (not clinical) (Ina, Berlin)
"I'd not been so dedicated before in following through for a full course, and looked forward to each Tuesday." (Khim, London)
