NW Paediatric Vascular Access course

The North West Paediatric Vascular Access course.

Open to ANYONE who wants to learn advanced paediatric vascular access - anaesthesia, PICU, paediatric surgeons, paediatricians, radiology, ANP's.   

Learn the knowledge and skills required to become an expert in paediatric vascular access. Plenty of hands on experience to help you learn the skills necessary to insert PICC lines and how to avoid the potential pitfalls of vascular access in children. Sessions include workshops in ultrasound scanning, device choice, needling techniques, line care and problem solving.

The course is a hybrid of online education videos and face to face learning with practical skills stations. There are limited places to allow for close supervision of candidates and to create a rich learning environment with faculty from a variety of specialities.
