The return of the North West Paediatric Vascular Access course.

Open to ANYONE who wants to learn advanced paediatric vascular access - anaesthesia, PICU, paediatric surgeons, radiology, ANP's.   

Learn the knowledge and skills required to become an expert in paediatric vascular access. There is plenty of hands on experience helping you to learn the skills neccessary to insert PICC lines and how to avoid the potential pitfalls of vascular access in children. We have sessions on how to best use ultrasound, which device to choose, needling techniques and problem solving sessions.

The course consists of online education videos and a half day of face to face learning with practical skill stations. There are limited places to allow for close supervision of candidates and to create a rich learning environment. When booking your ticket, please decide if you would prefer to attend the half day practical session in the morning or the afternoon.
