Following an utterly unhinged but critically lauded run at Edinburgh Fringe, Hamstrung returns to London from 11-16 of June.

Alas poor Yorick! Though he’s not dead…? Hamlet’s fellow of infinite jest is back to dig up the bones of his misspent life in this irreverent resurrection of Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy.

Juggling flashes of merriment with existential reflections on life as a fool, watch as he pieces together the queer, chaotic oddball beneath the skull, all the while battling an impending sense of his own mortality.

After stumbling upon Elsinore through a mysterious door, an ill-fated attempt to reignite Hamlet’s theatrical spark will rekindle long-buried passions of his own, blurring the line between performance and personal truth and wreaking havoc on the Danish court.

Hilarious, heartfelt, and delightfully high-spirited, Hamstrung is a tragicomic Shakespearean ghost story about one misfit clown’s reawakening, and the lengths he will go to get a laugh.

To see or not to see? There is no question.
