People of this world survive on a network of unheard conversations. Secrets passed from mothers to daughters, between friends, to colleagues, in the passing glances with strangers.
What are these words? What happens when we amplify them? What would it mean to put them on stage?

Pass It On is a monologues programme for emerging creatives from marginalised genders.

Yellow Coat Theatre Company is a cross-generational, women-led theatre collective. Our work focuses on celebrating women’s experiences through innovative and energetic theatre. The creative team is comprised of mother-and-daughter duo, Caron Kehoe and Emma Lamond, along with returning members of the collective, including Fiona White, Claire Marie Perry and Hannah Petch.

YELLOW COAT WRITES: FINDING STRUCTURE – Saturday 8th November
Join Yellow Coat for this workshop to explore different ways to create dynamic and high-impact storytelling through short form theatre. This workshop will examine how to structure a monologue, looking at different approaches and the reasoning for each approach.

YELLOW COAT WRITES: CREATING AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL WORK – Saturday 15th November
Join Yellow Coat in this workshop that begins to explore the art of “writing what you know” and creating work from your own lived experience. This workshop will challenge participants to mine their own experiences for stories they wish to share, and through guided exercises, find a safe and respectful way to bring these stories to the stage.
