She's Trying: Comedy Scratch

Step into a night of bold, bonkers and experimental comedy! “She’s Trying!: Comedy Scratch” is a scratch night platforming female-identifying comedy creatives to test out new material, ideas, and work-in-progress performances. Whether it’s sketches, monologues or physical comedy, expect laughs, fresh voices, and a raw glimpse into the creative process.

Here at Knockout Productions, we strive to make the kind of hilarious, female-powered comedy we actually want to watch - the kind of funny that makes you choke on your Pinot Grigio, not stroke your chin and sigh about the ‘human condition’. We’re here to create FUNNY STUFF™ that is written, directed, produced AND performed by women, and believe that through providing female-identifying creatives a platform to flex their funny bones, we can show the world that we aren’t just ‘funny’ - we’re a comedic force of nature.
