Reaching The C

Reaching the C is a show that explores the way music can thread through a life, using personal experience, a bassoon and a loop pedal.
It is story about living and learning, unexpected paths and places, and about finding your way through.
Written and performed by Ursula Leveaux, a bassoon player who performs with orchestras and ensembles throughout the UK, Europe and beyond and who wanted to create a theatrical performance piece as a way of connecting with people who aren’t necessarily concert goers.
Directed by Ben Wright.
Original script development and direction by Rosemary Harris.
A work-in-progress version of this show was first performed at Open Space at Theatre by the Lake, Keswick in April 2024.
