Like anyone, all he wants is a steady job. A wage three percent above national median, rising with the rate of inflation. A forty hour working week. Occasional overtime opportunities. Three weeks annual paid holiday. But standing between him and the opportunity of his dreams is the job interview of his nightmares. . .

A Job Interview is a surreal take on the absurdity of the labour market. KPI, SEO, CEO, GBH and PTSD — all will play a role in this witty, kafkaesque two-hander, guaranteed to leave you thinking about your HR department a little differently. How far would you go to break the cycle of unemployment? How can you make yourself stand out from the crowd? And what even is the job, anyway?

This is the latest production by the ensemble responsible most recently for Q.E.D. (‘witty, often riotous’ - View from the Gods) at the Drayton Arms Theatre.
