Join Natalie Innocenzi, MSG, LCSW, for her upcoming CE lecture "Understanding and Supporting Clients Through Grief" on November 13th! This course provides an opportunity to understand the clinical stages of grief. Participants will learn to identify the different types of grief and provide the proper support and resources needed. Participants will gain knowledge and tools critical for working with clients experiencing grief.
Meet Natalie Innocenzi, MSG, LCSW
Natalie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with Masters in both Social Work and in Gerontology from the University of Southern California. She began her career training and creating programs for medical professionals to efficiently work with Alzheimer's patients and their families. She has worked within medical social work supporting high risk patients in hospitals and nursing homes.
Natalie has extensive experience in crisis intervention, end of life care, gerontology, and grief support. Her past experiences have played a key role in the creation and development of the social work department.
She has curated training focused on the psychosocial needs of the veterinary staff and has provided psychosocial support to veterinarians, veterinary support staff, and clients. Social Work has become an invaluable part of veterinary medicine and Natalie hopes to continue evolving the role to provide veterinary staff with the necessary support and education.
