Welcome to the Vancouver Classic Guitar Society (VCGS)!

We are a passionate community dedicated to sharing the joy of classical guitar. Whether you are a seasoned player, a curious beginner, or simply a lover of live music, VCGS provides opportunities to listen, learn, and connect.

Our Programming Includes:

• World-Class Concerts: Our annual International Artist Series brings top-tier talent from around the globe to Vancouver, complete with masterclasses and youth showcases.
• Summer Festivals: We host the Vancouver and Okanagan Classical Guitar Festivals every summer, featuring renowned faculty, workshops, and performances.
• Community & Connection: From our adult amateur VCGS Guitar Ensemble to our Monthly Guitar Socials, we create welcoming spaces for guitarists to meet and play.
• Education & Outreach: We proudly support the next generation with annual student scholarships and Open Stage events, while partnering with local groups to offer free community concerts and ticket access for seniors.
