Calling all actors, improvisers, comedians, idiots, artists, humans! This workshop is for YOU! Do you want to take greater risks? Play big? Eliminate self-doubt? Create honest relationships? See the strength in your vulnerability? Embrace your most authentic self? Live in the moment? Laugh yourself silly? Then it's time to get out of your comfort zone & risk being seen in all your glory!

This class is open to all brave souls ready to take the plunge into the wonderful world of play. No previous experience necessary.

About Shannan

Known for her keen sense of timing, razor sharp wit and extraordinary rapport with an audience, Shannan Calcutt has played an eclectic range of venues worldwide. From Saskatoon's Wash'n Slosh Pub, to the Sydney Opera House to San Francisco's Bimbo's 365 Club. Audiences can see Calcutt nightly on the Vegas Strip, attempting to sell her homemade breast implants in Cirque du Soleil's sensual sensation Zumanity. 

Currently the clown coach for Cirque du Soleil's 7 resident shows in Las Vegas, Shannan is one of the world's leading specialists in clown, creativity and devising theatre. She has conducted workshops in Canada, Australia, Europe and the United States. Her work has been profiled in international arts magazines Border Crossings and American Theatre. 

Shannan is sought after as a comic act designer, acting coach, director, writer and show creator. Her projects range from the world's largest theatre stage featuring over 100 artists with a budget of 12 million euros, to a late night clown soiree featuring 11 Cirque du Soleil artists with a budget of five thousand US dollars.
