Join us for the Veggies to Table Harvest Dinner & Fundraiser at The Contented Sole on Saturday, October 17, from 5:00–8:00 PM.

Enjoy an evening celebrating the harvest with exceptional food, paired wines, craft beer from Allagash Brewing, sparkling wine, coffee from Coffee By Design, wonderful company and community, live acoustic music by Wikid Bueno, and a fun raffle—all while supporting Veggies to Table's mission to grow and donate top-quality organic produce and flowers to neighbors experiencing hunger and needing joy. Proceeds will go directly toward the next chapter of Veggies to Table: the infrastructure we need to grow and donate even more food, including a new tool shed, an equipment storage shed, and a produce wash & pack station.

THE MENU

Begin the evening with a signature champagne cocktail & passed hors d’oeuvres, 
followed by a harvest-inspired dinner:

WINE

Le Cras Bourgogne Rouge 2022

A beautiful elegant 2022 red Burgundy. Expect bright red fruit, subtle earth and spice, and a fresh, balanced finish. A versatile French red that is lovely on its own and especially good with chicken, mushrooms, charcuterie, and cheeses.

Bonnet Cotton cotton Brouilly Beajolais 2023

A vibrant, organically farmed 100% Gamay from Brouilly in Beaujolais. Hand-harvested and naturally fermented with whole clusters, then barrel aged for eight months. Juicy red berries and cherries mingle with floral, mineral, and peppery notes, with bright acidity and fine tannins. Fresh, energetic, and seriously delicious.

Jean des Clisson Chardonnay - 2022

This fresh Chardonnay offers ripe orchard and citrus fruit with a clean, balanced finish. Works beautifully as an aperitif or alongside seafood, chicken, salads, and creamy cheeses.

2022 Chateau Rives Blanc - Blanquette de Limoux

An elegant sparkling wine from southern France, featuring delicate bubbles, crisp green apple, citrus, and hints of toasted brioche. Fresh, lively, and beautifully balanced.
