Hello, I am Dr Haroun Gajraj founder of The VeinCare Academy. My mission is to help healthcare professional learn about Venous Disease and How to Treat it.

When I started in Private Practice nearly 30 years ago, there were no courses on the treatment of leg spider veins by Microsclerotherapy.   So I set out on a 2-year mission to learn from the very best Microsclerotherapy Experts at that time. 

I took the "best bits" from nearly 20 active sclerotherapists and incorporated them into my own practice. I refined my own practice, perfected my technique and studied the practice of Microsclerotherapy in the research literature as it was published.Then in 2002, I produced the first Hands-On Microsclerotherapy Course in the UK.

I continue my mission to provide the very best Hands-On Microsclerotherapy Course available.

I did the same when treating facial spider veins and in 2005, I produced the first Hands-On Short Wave Diathermy Course in the UK.

In collaboration with my colleague Emma Davies, I founded the British Assocation of Sclerotherapists to raise standards in Sclerotherapy. The first Conference of the BAS was in 2005.
