Walk with the Weatherman 2023

WEATHERMAN Walking presenter and Velindre Ambassador, Derek Brockway, is returning with a brand new Charity event for 2023 featuring the popular welsh peak, Pen-Y-Fan, the highest point in South Wales.

Derek is inviting you to join him in summiting Pen-Y-Fan on Sunday 2nd April 2023 to help raise vital funds for Velindre Cancer Charity in support of his next overseas challenge, conquering Mount Toubkal in Morocco.

This event will celebrate the spring equinox and invites all abilities to take part in this relaxed and enjoyable Sunday hike offering spectacular views at the top. Walk alongside Derek for this 4 mile circular route and soak up the stunning welsh landscapes with great company.

The 4 mile circular walk will start at 9.00am from Pont ar Daf Cark Park (just before the Storey Arms) with registration taking place from 8:30am.

Registration is £10.00 per person with a minimum fundraising target of £50.00 in aid of Velindre Cancer Charity.

Due to health and safety requirements, all participants must be aged 16+.
