YES Tribute Total Mass Retain with Epic Laser Show at Dunellen Theatre

The return!  One of Dunellen Theatre's most beloved tributes Total Mass Retain YES Tribute Band returns to Dunellen Theatre on May 8th, featuring their spectacular LASER LIGHT SHOW and for its most ambitious concert yet: a complete live performance of TALES FROM TOPOGRAPHIC OCEANS.
Recognized by YES and YesFans as the #1 YES Tribute Band, TMR has built a devoted following by bringing the music of YES to the stage with extraordinary attention to detail, musicianship, and passion. After selling out the Dunellen Theatre in 2026, TMR returns with a show created especially for longtime YES fans.

Released in 1973, Tales From Topographic Oceans remains one of the most ambitious—and most debated—albums in the YES catalog. Its four epic compositions span an entire double album, inspiring generations of listeners while challenging audiences with its scope, complexity and sheer musical scale. More than 50 years after the original Tales tour, Total Mass Retain will take on the monumental task of performing the album in its entirety.

TMR drummer Joe Cass explains:

“I believe the TMR TALES TOUR will be a truly special and historic event for YesFans. We know that the full Tales album has not been performed live since YES's original 73/74 tour. Over the years, appreciation for this album has only grown, along with the desire among YesFans to experience the entire work performed live again. TMR is incredibly proud and excited to take on this enormous undertaking. The concert will be presented in two sets, featuring Tales From Topographic Oceans in its entirety, along with a second set of YES classics, epics and fan favorites. There seems to be a lot of buzz about the tour and we believe fans are going to travel from far and wide to experience this show with us...we can’t wait!!”

For longtime YesFans and anyone who wants to experience one of progressive rock’s most adventurous albums brought to life onstage, this promises to be an unforgettable night.

YesFans and Prog Fans won't want to miss this special night.
