Sweep Up The Southeast 2024
Sat Sep 7, 2024 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM EDT
Description
Have you ever traveled a forest service road and encountered a dumpsite or a campsite ruined by irresponsibility? Do you desire to actively participate in preserving access to our public lands? If the idea of camping and collaborating with a community of individuals who share your dedication to stewardship excites you, then you are exactly who we need!
Venture Unknown Foundation is thrilled to extend an invitation for you to join us once again in our significant regional endeavor: Sweep Up The Southeast 2024! This initiative is more than a clean-up; it’s a movement of people united by a love for nature and a commitment to stewardship.
Participation Options
We have several different locations to choose from. Click the "Choose a Team and Sign Up" button on the right to choose tickets for the location where you want to help. You'll need a ticket for each adult and each child (under 18) so we know how many folks are planning to come.
Each team also has a few camping spots available - if you want to come camp, add a "Rig" ticket as well. Limit 1 rig per "order". Camp locations will be shared after registration.

Sponsors
Our 2024 event is possible with the support and partnership of onX Offroad through their Adventure Forever Grants and in partnership with Polaris and their Trails Grant. onX Adventure Forever Grant is an opportunity for nonprofits, land trusts, tribal nations, and other community groups to unlock funding for six project types. One of these project types is “Restore Trails and Riding Areas” for trash clean-up efforts like SUTS24. Polaris, through its TRAILS GRANTS program, provides funds to organizations that promote safe and reasonable riding, support trail preservation, and help protect the environment and natural resources that are a part of the off-road trail system.
