Building Science (BS) and Beer Winter Gathering
Come join fellow Vermont Green Building Network (VGBN) members and building trades professionals for an informal gathering centered around Building Science discussion and conversation on Wednesday, February 18th from 5-7pm at Burlington Beer Company in Burlington, VT.
For this season's edition of Building Science (BS) and Beer Vermont, we'll be focusing the conversation on the topic of foundations. Discussion will focus on related topics such as basic principles of foundation design, codes and standards, opportunities and limitations to alternative foundation options, innovations around concrete detailing and other material choices, and consideration of embodied carbon. VGBN Board Members Arthur Chukhman (Duncan Wisniewski Architecture) and Megan Nedzinski (Vermont Integrated Architecture) will lead the evening's discussion. We will also leave time for networking.
Limited space and registration is required!
Please note that Vermont Green Building Network is pleased to host this gathering for the benefit of our members (though all are welcome). Not a member? Please consider joining VGBN as a member or partner. Learn more here: https://www.vtgreenbuildingnetwork.org/member-benefits
