Armed Forces Community Open Day

The aim of our Armed Forces Community Open Day is to have a ‘one-stop-shop’ for the Armed Forces Community (AFC). The AFC, includes Serving Personnel, Reservists, Veterans and their families to walk in, have a 'brew' and see what services are available to them (locally and nationally); plus how to access that support. Some of the services who regularly attend and provide real-time information, advice and guidance are as follows: Veterans UK, RFEA, DWP, RAFBF, Help for Heroes, Carers First, Health Watch, Op Courage (an NHS service), Connect to Support Lincolnshire, Blind Vets UK & Op Nova, to name but a few.

Timings are 10:00 to 14:00 but please note, if you arrive in the last hour there is no guarantee that the service you want to access will still be there. We cannot force organisations to stay there if no one is coming through the door; so please plan accordingly!
