Agility Conversations: Guided Group Mentorship & Learning

How It Works

Packs consist of small groups of VGP members that meet for 90 minutes once weekly on Tuesdays for 6 weeks to discuss the topics outlined below. Each Pack has a Pack Leader guiding the topics and open discussions within each meeting. Packs will also have access to a special online community on EdQuest where the conversation will continue between meetings, resources will be shared, and activities assigned.

Please plan to attend and add the weekly meeting dates to your calendar! This Pack will meet on Zoom weekly on Tuesdays for 90 minutes starting at 1:30 PM Eastern Time. Attendance in each class is required.

Curriculum

Mastering the art of team communication isn't just about relaying information; it's about forging a foundation of trust and understanding. When you learn to truly listen, speak plainly, and encourage open dialogue, you unlock a hidden potential within your team. This course is great for any manager or leader in the veterinary practice looking to level-up their communication skills with their team members. The program is led by the incredible Leather Brice, CVBL, CCFP.

• Coaching Conversations: Lead your team to success by coaching to their strengths and understanding their weaknesses to improve efficiency and develop accountability. Learn how to:
  • Use Coaching to improve skills
  • Build confidence in your team members

• Confrontation Conversations: Equalize the emotional imbalance in the relationships in practice. Learn how to:
  • Differentiate the types of conversations occurring in your practice
  • Use role play to better understand the power of proper communication

• Feedback Conversations: Communicate expectations and realign the team to listen for understanding and behave according to the culture in your practice. Learn how to:
  • Train your team to utilize proper communication techniques and empower them to solve problems that evoke emotion as they arise in practice.
  • Give feedback with confidence and use this tool to move your practice forward.

RACE Approval

This program is RACE-approved for 9.0 CE hours.

Cost

Agility Leadership is currently only available to Veterinary Growth Partners Members and is offered at a discounted rate. The 6-week Group Mentorship & Learning program is $270.00 per person and includes access to the Pack Community on EdQuest. The registration fee is non-refundable.
