Orthotic Rehabilitation and Stabilisation after Injury and Surgery

DipECVS MRCVS from Stansted Veterinary Specialists.

The focus of the course is orthotic rehabilitation and stabilisation following injury and/or orthopaedic surgery. After established diagnosis and possibly operation of the patient, it is of the utmost importance that the patient is handled correctly during the aftercare. This highly practical one-day course will focus on the role of orthotics in treating disorders of distal ligaments, muscle injuries, stifle joint, and distal extremities. Incorporating practical exercises with orthoses and 3D scanning, the day will cover multiple different orthotic case scenarios with post-operative and post-traumatic approaches for ensuring optimal patient outcome.
