MEET THE ARTISTS

Nishiki Sugawara-Beda | Visual Artist

Represented by Chris Worley Fine Arts, Nishiki explores identity, memory, spirituality, and the intersection of Japanese tradition and contemporary expression. Working with traditional materials including Sumi ink, her elegant, meditative compositions reflect the complexities of culture, belonging, and personal transformation.

Alondra Máynez | Harpist

Alondra brings the delicate resonance and expressive possibilities of the harp to the evening, creating an atmospheric musical dialogue with Nishiki's visual world. Her performance will help shape the immersive, contemplative character of the installation.

Jon Johnston | Shakuhachi

Performing on the traditional Japanese bamboo flute, Jon introduces the instrument's haunting, breath-driven tones to the experience. His music offers a beautiful connection between sound, space, and the Japanese aesthetic traditions that inform the evening.
