Villa Lontana Records is an experimental independent record label based in Rome which focuses on the production of new sounds, from electroacoustic to field-recordings, and from electromagnetism to sound poetry. The label responds to the curatorial programme of Villa Lontana, an independent art space creating fluid platforms of encounter between ancient and contemporary practices. The programme includes exhibitions, publications and artists' editions.
