Trail Along to Pismo Rally 2026

Join us for a laid-back getaway on the coast of Pismo Beach as we wrap up our annual rally season. Enjoy the beach, sunsets, campfire conversations, and time with other vintage trailer enthusiasts. It is a great way to finish the year, catch up with friends, and make a few new ones along the way.

Vintage (1972 and earlier), Retro, Reissue and newer trailers are welcome. Do you have something else interesting? Let us know. (No tents, tent sites or cabins at this park.) Not sure if you already have reservations for one of our rallies? THURSDAY

7:30 am Coffee Klatch EVERY MORNING Host Site #175

5:00 pm - Potluck Dinner! site #175. Join us for a fun themed potluck picnic: Which Came First, the Chicken or the Egg? We’ll be bringing some fried chicken, and we invite you to bring your favorite chicken or egg dish. BBQ chicken, teryaki chicken, chicken nuggets, chicken and dumplings, shawarma or picnic-style side to share. Great camping-friendly ideas include deviled eggs, potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, baked beans, cornbread, pasta salad, or a simple dessert to finish things off.

Will you host a social at your camp site? Talk to us about covering the expenses. Will you lead a pet, bike or mini bike parade?

FRIDAY

7:30 am Coffee Klatch and Donuts! Donuts provided by SkyMed. SkyMed is The Premier Emergency Medical Transportation Membership Service. In the event of a serious illness or injury, SkyMed takes you home by choice of the member to be treated by your doctor you know and trust in the hospital near your loved ones. SkyMed, has you covered, at home, away from home and worldwide. There will be a brief presentation about the SkyMed services at 9:00 am. (Less than an hour.) Host Site #175 Raffle Prizes for participants: A $100.00 and two $50.00 Amazon Gift Cards!

9:30 am Mimosa Morning Mixer. Mid-century, tiki, surfer pajama party at the Vandammes/Geides sites #264 and #267.

10:00 am Pismo Bowling Tourmnament Hosted by Ben & Roxanne Miller. Pismo Bowl, 277 Pomeroy Ave, Pismo Beach, CA 93449.

11:00 AM Cornhole Tournament (If we get a host)

Noon - Hot Dogs and Lemonade for lunch! At the Pinewood derby races.

Noon -  Pinewood Derby Races! Vincent Tabaillon is hosting! Here are the official rules. Trophies for the fastest and best design! Get a car built, shop here.

1:00 pm Mini Golf Tournament (If we get a host)

2:00 Crafting Workshop,  Hosted by Angela. Would you like to host an event or workshop? We can cover costs.

3:00 pm- Mini Bike Parade - Check in with the Holroyds in site 

2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Kite Flying on the Beach with Jim and Lynn Foster. Professional kite flyers, Jim and Lynn Foster are original Trailerites from the early days of the Trail Along to Pismo rallies. They travel the world as top-ranked exhibition kite flyers and are willing to share their art with you at the rally this year. Bring a kite of your own or just come as a spectator. (Access the beach where Addie St. dead ends at the north end of the RV park at the boardwalk.)

SATURDAY

7:30 am to 9 am - Pancake Breakfast at the host's site, #175. Come in your PJs!

​10 am to 2 pm - Open House - Free to the public to come in and view the trailers and meet the owners.

3:00 pm Golf Cart Parade. Check-in with Ray in site: 377

5:00 pm— The Original Trailer Crawl

Join Gary and Margo Warner for their original, legendary Pismo Beach Rally Trailer Crawl!

Stroll from trailer to trailer and enjoy delicious food and beverages provided by your fellow campers. This year, we’re trying something a little different—we’ve divided the evening into three serving times. This will help keep the group together and give each host a chance to serve for about 30 minutes before joining in on the fun. 

Since it gets dark early this time of year, bring your lanterns, flashlights, and glow gear, and be sure to light up your trailer with all your beautiful exterior lighting. We will also be providing "Glow Gear" at Gary's site if you need more!

• 5:00 p.m. – Start in the upper right-hand corner of the map.
• 5:30 p.m. – Head down toward the campsites in the lower right-hand section.
• 6:00 p.m. – Hit the sites around nearer the host site (175) and end up there for campfires and treats! We will also be raffling off prizes!

Let’s light up the night, have fun, and celebrate our amazing community. And don’t forget to thank your fellow camper hosts who volunteered to serve you!

SUNDAY

8:30 am - Coffee and Worship service in the clubhouse meeting room. Hosted by Doug Owen. Only at Pismo Beach in Novemeber.

4:00 pmish The Tumblewed Potluck at Andy's site #238.

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m.; RVs arriving before 4:00 p.m. will not be allowed on site before 4:00 p.m. unless the site is clear. Check-out time is 12:00 noon. ​All sites must be vacated by 12:00 noon on the date of departure.

When you arrive, check-in at the gate with the park. Once settled in your site, check in with us at site #175. We have some goodies for you. ​We will be open on Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.

Dogs are welcome at the park but NOT at group events. Please follow all park rules. Quiet time after 10 pm.

Site requests are met to the best of our ability based on the order in which we receive reservations. Please include any site requests in your notes. (We do not know which sites are the shady ones.) The sooner you make your reservations, the more apt you will be with your friends, near the bathrooms, or in your preferred section.
