We're Visible Data and our mission is dataviz for all points with humans at the heart.

We're building Pier, a data communication workspace providing digital accessibility governance and a digital skills hub focused on the true high-value human work needed alongside AI tools.

Humans are deeply visual creatures and data doesn't work for us when it's smeared through text. Data visualisations are understood 10,000+ times faster than text, they are understood more easily and power so many of the digital products and services you use, from electric vehicles to fintech and even lifestyle apps such as Strava.

But we don't all see in the same way. And for many users, additional technology is required to benefit from and use dataviz. Governments around the world have recognised this, including both the EU and US who have active legislation requiring customer-facing digital experiences are accessible. Failing to meet this legislation leaves you vulnerable to significant fines. You're also decreasing your community of users, with 1 in 6 people living with access needs.

Accessibility and digital inclusivity is not about passing automated tests. It needs you to centre the needs of humans in the minds of your analysts, designers and developers. That's where Pier stands.

In addition to building Pier we offer a variety of workshops on data visualisation. These are proudly run through Ticket Tailor who are a UK-based B Corp.
