As many of you know, Sami suffered a terrible car accident in February of 2021. This left him in a condition that will take many years to recover. Zouk Heat & Viva La Bachata have come together to keep Sami's dream alive. Together, we will be organizing DC Zouk & Bachata Festival 2023.

DC Zouk will be the ultimate transition-into-Zouk festival with a sprinkle of beautiful bachata as a bridge from Bachata into Zouk while still serving a lit Zouk weekend dance experience.

• LEAD: Keeps time & suggests, through his/her lead, the figures to be executed in a dance.
• FOLLOW: By reading the Lead's signals, the Follow performs the suggested figures.
