Ramlila: A Community Stage Play

Experience an evening of storytelling, drama, music and culture as the epic story of Ramlila is brought to the stage by Slough’s community.

Experience the timeless story of Ramlila brought to life on stage in Slough.

Join us at The Curve for a special community theatre production celebrating one of India’s most treasured stories.

Through live performance, storytelling, music and drama, Ramlila follows the journey of Lord Ram, exploring courage, devotion, love, loyalty and the triumph of good over evil.

At the heart of this production is Slough’s community. Local people, performers and creatives have come together to learn, rehearse and bring this story to the stage.

The production brings together participants from local community and creative groups including IDUK, Sai Seva, Winging It, Nathyology, Sanchari House of Dance, and Be Yourself Community, creating a collaborative performance that celebrates culture and the creative talent within Slough.

Whether Ramlila is part of your own tradition or you’re discovering the story for the first time, everyone is welcome.
