▬ Where are we travelling to? ▬

HARRY POTTER FILM SET TOUR (ALNWICK CASTLE x DURHAM CATHEDRAL)

We are undertaking a two-day trip to view two of the most stunning locations that were used as film sets for early Harry Potter movies. Our first stop is Durham Cathedral whose cloisters can be seen as the snow-covered quadrangle in the first two series of the franchise. From Durham we head to Alnwick Castle, and its instantly recognisable courtyard, which was the set for the magical Hogwarths School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Philospher’s Stone (2001) and the Chamber of Secrets (2002). At Alnwick, depending on the weather, you may get to participate in some Hogwarts-esque outdoor activities such as broom-flying and archery.

The following day, on our way back to Aberdeen, we may stop at the magical Holy Island once the tide has subsided. This is a bonus stop as Harry Potter was never filmed here. But being that we are in the area, it would be wrong not to visit this incredible island and explore the history that goes with it.

▬ Can I get a refund once I have bought a ticket? ▬

No. All tickets, once purchased, are non-refundable. You may sell-on your ticket but you must let us know, in writing, NO LESS THAN 24HRS BEFORE DEPARTURE. As already stated, our accommodation policy is to separate rooms by gender. Therefore, if you sell-on your ticket to someone of a different gender without informing us and/or with less than 24hrs notice, we reserve the right to deny that person travelling.
