Description
Nancy Trotter Landry brings us Suki Tawdry Reads, her extraordinary one woman show.
Suki Tawdry - a most unlikely heroine, seeks to penetrate the depths of TS Eliot’s masterpiece poem, Four Quartets.
Unworldly and ordinary, Tawdry explores its psychic chasms and metaphysical mysteries with beguiled confusion and a longing-to-know. She must repeat and wonder - and wonder again. Beckett-esque, we are with her all the way. Of one thing you can be certain; you have never experienced Eliot like this. A revelation.
Nancy Trotter Landry studied at the Jacques Lecoq (clown) School in Paris 2005-2007. She worked at Gifford’s Circus with Nell Gifford for 20 years as singer, dancer, ring-mistress, eccentric, bird-charmer and hoop act.
“Her work is fierce, hilarious and utterly original” Simon McBurney
Whitish Male
Simon Finch has been a rare book dealer all his life. He has performed from his written works on occasion at the Playground Theatre in London.
This is the debut of his one man show Whitish Male. It includes poetic fragments of memoir, some rude words and difficult subjects.
