A Love Letter from Anne:
It’s such a joy to give you an overview of this work that I love and that has changed my life.
When I’m giving a talk or a seminar I will often start by saying: “Tell me who I am just by looking at me.” They get it right every time. And that connects us from the beginning. They already know who I am because I’ve let them see me. From that connected place, speaking is easy.
When I think about color and style it’s really about our soul and essence. It’s about coming home to ourselves.
Color palettes are based on our skin, hair and eyes and it allows the magic of our inner essence to be reflected to the outside world. Knowing the psychology of color gives us so much choice and power whether we’re meeting a new person or going to an actual meeting. Color can allow us to choose what result we want to create.
Style facets are based on our face shape, body shape, and height. Most importantly, it’s based on who we are, not someone’s idea of who we should be or how we should look.
The beauty of this process is how it reflects the soul of who we are and not a fashion trend to be chased. I love how people getting their palette and style facets often say to me: “I’ve always loved that color or style” but they stopped wearing it because the culture said no. The power of permission that clients feel often makes both of us cry. They get themselves back.
Yes it’s true that shopping becomes a breeze, and you feel more confident but the most important things for me are: that you can stand in front of the mirror, see your aliveness, and love what you see. And secondly, to walk into any room and be known without saying a word.
That’s magic.
