Although I trained in acting for years, I didn’t always have those creative flow experiences.

Sometimes I was in flow, and sometimes I felt like a deranged manikin. Working really hard, trying to connect with my scene partners and feeling like there was a glass wall between us.

So I went on a quest to understand what created that flow and what blocked it so I could get there more often.

What I found blew my mind:

There is a primal life force in all of us that makes us alive from head to toe.

When that primal force meets our purpose, we become magnetic ...

You can’t learn to throw a football from reading a book . . .

Great theatre is created by a group working together known as the ensemble.

Theatre actors first rehearse with their scene partner. When they’re ready, they then perform in front of a preview audience. Finally, the show opens.

For speakers, the crowd is both your scene partner and your audience, which makes practicing with a sacred group of like-hearted peers vital.

During this Open Mic Feedback Session you'll speak in an intimate group setting and receive specific feedback on your stage presence directly from Lauri. Apply your tailored feedback to your entire talk to unleash your unique presence and mesmerize audiences.

*This is a playful, interactive session to practice dropping the protective masks and speaking authentically in a safe and supportive space.

Come prepared to speak so that you can embody what you're learning. You can work on an upcoming speech, video, podcast, or networking introduction. You can also speak about something you're passionate about or even read from a favorite book!
