Sheikh Babikir (Sudan)
Sheikh Babikir Ahmed Babikir is a prominent Sudanese-born British Islamic scholar, and teacher, based in London. He is the founder of Rumi's Cave, a community hub in West London, and Ulfa Aid, a humanitarian charity. Known for promoting compassion and interfaith dialogue, he is a former headmaster and current religious director at Islamia Schools founded by Yusuf Islam.
Originally from Sudan, he arrived in the Uk in 1977, he studied traditional Islamic sciences, including Tafsir, Hadith, Aqida, and other subjects. He holds an undergraduate degree in mathematics and a Masters in Management from the University of London.

Dr. S Ashraf (PhD Oxford Uni)
Dr S Ashraf is the founder of CEI. Traditionally trained in Tarim, Yemen, Dr Ashraf completed his Masters under Professor Muhammad Abdel Haleem, and holds a PhD in Qur’anic studies from the University of Oxford.
He is the main teacher of tafseer across CEI’s programmes, as well as the executive director of the charity.

Dr. Amina Paracha
Dr Amina Paracha is a children’s book author, Islamic studies teacher, and founder of Little Hoopoe Books.
Her first book, Could I Be a Hafidh?, introduces children to the journey of Qur’an memorisation and its beautiful reward, encouraging them to start small and see it as something meaningful and personal.
At Qur’an Expo 2026, she will be running interactive Hifdh workshops where children take part, reflect, and begin building their own connection with the Qur’an.

Hafiz Wajid Hussain
After memorising the Quran and studying under many scholars, Ustadh Wajid studied in Tarim. He is currently the Head of Home-Ed school in the Midlands and teacher across many institutions.
A specialist at providing a Quranic Lens into his infamous Quran Cafe, Scholar courses, youth Scholarship course, Arabic courses and many other specialist Islamic areas makes Hafiz Wajid the perfect ambassador for the Quran Expo.

🎨 Mubashra Ata - is a London-based artist devoted to the classical Islamic arts. She holds *ijaza* in the calligraphic scripts of *Riq‘ah, Diwani,* and *Diwani Jaly*, having studied under many masters of Art in Istanbul 🇹🇷 and Morocco 🇲🇦.

Sura An-Naml (The Ants) Q. 27:15–27. What can we learn about authentic leadership from the Qur’an’s portrayal of Prophet Sulayman (pbuh), the hoopoe, the ant and the Queen of Sheba?

How do we move beyond our default reactions and learn to respond with reflection instead of impulse?
