Volunteer Recruitment Training (for staff)

This training is part of the annual Cripplegate Food Fund Volunteer Training Programme organised by Voluntary Action Islington. This interactive 2.5-hour session is designed only for staff working in food aid settings across Islington.

Please note that this is an in-person event at Voluntary Action Islington. Participants will need to bring a laptop. If you don't have one please email marta.aparicio@vai.org.uk

By the end of the training, participants will feel confident in planning and promoting volunteer opportunities effectively. The session will cover practical steps to assess your organisation’s capacity for volunteers, create clear and appealing role descriptions, design adverts that attract the right people, and identify the best places to advertise your opportunities.
